ART TALK CLAUDIA VAN DER STARRE

Claudia van der Starre and her Nikon camera have been inseparable since her childhood. During her life, she traveled the world and photographed the most beautiful moments that occurred. In 2017, she completed her photography studies and traded her job in marketing for a full-time adventure as a photographer. Since then, Claudia has been doing what is in her genes: creating artistic, fascinating photos based on daily events and encounters.

She conducts every photo shoot herself. From models to clothing, from location to catering, from accessories to unpredictable elements. Because she has full control over her work, each photo bears her unique signature. For the Island-Collection, Van der Starre exclusively created the uniquely edited Lobster Series, as an ode to the famous Dutch ‘Oosterscheldekreeft’, which is renowned worldwide for its high quality and refined taste.

On Sunday 12th February from 14 - 16 hours Claudia invites you to attend her Art Talk, in which she tells about her art works, the making of, what inspires her and what message she likes to give to art lovers and her clients. All this will be supported by a guided tour by the Gallery Manager, and of course some drinks & bites.
